For programs overseen by the BPPE and another agency, two applications must be prepared.
Conditional BPPE Approval
The BPPE will only provide a Conditional Approval to programs overseen by other boards.

- Ancillary Dental Assistant Courses: Radiation Safety, Coronal Polishing, Pit & Fissure Sealants, Ultrasonic Scaling, Infection Control, Dental Sedation & Orthodontic Assistant
*Note: Some counties have chosen to form multi-county organizations to provide EMS oversight.
*Note: CAMTC is not a state agency; however, some cities and counties in California require massage therapists to have attended a CAMTC-approved school in order to practice there. Therefore, while CAMTC approval is not strictly required, it may be in a school’s best interest to achieve CAMTC approval to attract students.
